Information You Enter
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered into the search forms are sent to the third-party provider that powers the displayed results. Chino Hills Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you contact the operators, the message and any details included in it are visible to the recipient and are used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may keep routine server logs such as an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregate information can help identify broken links, understand broad page use, and keep the reference working. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where those services are active.
How We Use Information
Information received directly is used to operate the reference, answer messages, fix faults, measure broad traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual user profiles from the search forms. The government records described on the pages remain with their custodians.
Links to Other Services
Pages link to San Bernardino County offices, California agencies, courts, libraries, archives, USPS, and third-party search tools. Each destination has its own privacy practices and terms. Those policies control information submitted after a visitor leaves this reference. Sponsored search results are supplied by a third party and are governed by that provider’s rules.
Who Receives Technical Data
Hosting and support providers may process the server-log information needed to deliver the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above when their services are enabled. Information may be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it. It is not disclosed for unrelated purposes.
Security and Retention
The reference is served over an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for the operational, security, and measurement purposes that require them. There are no visitor accounts here, so the reference does not hold a password or user profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent information through the contact route, use the Contact page so the operators can review and remove what they hold.
California Privacy Rights
California’s Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, is codified at Civil Code section 1798.100 and following. Subject to its scope and exemptions, it provides rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. The Delete Act, Senate Bill 362, created a centralized data-broker deletion mechanism administered by the California Privacy Protection Agency. Current instructions are available through the CPPA.
Because this reference retains very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs and removing information found there. Public records maintained by California, San Bernardino County, or Chino Hills offices are outside the operators’ control. Requests about those records go to the custodian, such as ARC, the Superior Court, CDPH, or the city department that created the file.
Policy Changes
Updates will be posted on this page when the privacy practices or explanation changes. Continued use after a revision indicates acceptance of the updated policy. The date and scope of a material change should be reviewed before submitting information through a linked service.
